[Filmed January 18. 2020] About four to five months ago I got a heads up by Roseville Sacramento Railfan that Union Pacific was getting ready to rebuild this crossing and replace the signals. The crossing has been rebuilt recently with the gated mast signals getting replaced with new signals first. The gateless signals got new signal foundations for when they get replaced with new signals soon that are closer to the tracks than the old position of the old signals currently are. The crossing is also temporary running on two relay cases also with the new signals connected to the new signals and the old relay case is connected to the gateless signals which also creates two different sequences as the gateless signals deactivate fully while the gates are rising. Ringing through whole activation is also the new bell sequence here. The sidewalks were also rebuilt at this crossing. I couldn't get the left gateless signal in the shot because how slanted and far back the crossing is and plus its nearly in someone's yard so I also didn't want to record it there because of that and because I wanted to film from the first side I film this crossing but I did briefly pan over to it and you can hear its remaining WCH Mechanical Bell. The gated signals lights are mounted oddly also. Also the left gateless signal had a back light that's a WCH LED light that wasn't working. Around 12:45pm, the Union Pacific Railroad MRVOA Manifest Freight Train heads westbound passing through the West 1st Street Lincoln Highway 113 Railroad Crossing having a meet with Amtrak California Capitol Corridor #728 eastbound which was running about 30 minutes late having a near meet and causing the crossing to lower again mid gate rising due to it not just yet being in the activation zone for it on the Union Pacific Railroad Martinez Subdivision Main Line.
