12.18.2019 | 12:45 AM | LOS ANGELES - A burglary suspect who fought with officers after entering an occupied apartment was injured, early Wednesday morning. Authorities responded to reports of a burglary in progress at an apartment located in the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard in the Reseda area around 12:45 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a possible suspect and attempted to stop him.
A fight ensued, prompting an 'officer needs help' call before the suspect could be subdued.
Firefighter paramedics responded and treated the suspect along with a resident from the apartment being reportedly burglarized before transporting them to area hospitals.
It was unclear how the resident of the apartment was injured however officers are investigating the possibility the incident was a home-invasion.
