Toclu, my maternal great-grandfather, was born in the second half of the 19th century in the small village Adi Gava situated in the district of Adi Quala, Eritrea. Since his birth was not registered the civil registry will never show his life and without a story people will never praise his existence. He was an analphabet, poor but with a great will to live. He was a troubadour, a musician, a composer. I am a composer, a musician and I have an education, therefore credibility, and a platform. I will use it to tell his story.
