Clashes ensued between students of the Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi Police on Monday. With barricades set up and security forces deployed on every gate of the university, the students' planned march to the President's house after their month-long protest failed to bear fruits as the administration rejected their demand of complete rollback of proposed hike in hostel charges. A section of students however reached the vicinity of the president’s house but were dispersed by the police which used batons. Three metro stations have been closed and according to Delhi Traffic Police, roads leading to the JNU have been closed for the traffic. For more videos, subscribe to our channel:
