CAA पर रोक नहीं लगाएगा Supreme Court, Modi Government को Notice, New Year में होगी सुनवाई। ABP Uncut

नागरिकता (संशोधन) कानून 2019 पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फिलहाल रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया है. नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में 60 याचिकाएं दाखिल की गई थीं. इन सब पर सुनवाई करने के दौरान चीफ जस्टिस एस ए बोबडे, जस्टिस बी आर गवई और जस्टिस सूर्य कांत की बेंच ने नागरिकता संशोधन कानून पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया. साथ ही कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को नोटिस जारी कर इसपर जवाब तलब किया है. अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट जनवरी, 2020 में इस मामले की सुनवाई करेगा. आरजेडी, एआएमआईएम, इंडियन यूनियन मुस्लिम लीग और असम गण परिषद जैसी पार्टियों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में इस कानून को चुनौती दी थी.
