On September 1st, 2019, Stockton Firefighters responded to multiple reports of fire from a structure on Porterfield Court. Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and fire from multiple sides of a tri-plex, and requested a second alarm. Reports could not confirm if everyone was out of the structure, requiring Firefighters to take additional risk to ensure the safety of the residents. All searches were clear. The fire was brought under control in under 15 minutes after the first 9-1-1 call (this includes responding travel time). Firefighters extinguished heavy fire and avoided multiple hazards to save as much as possible. No injuries to civilians were reported at this fire, two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
