Search Into Fire • 2nd Alarm Tri-Plex • Portfield Court • Stockton, CA This video compiles Radio Traffic (Fire Audio) with three different video captures of one incident. The first 7 minutes or so detail Truck 4 Search Group who recognize the fire unit as a residence of a family with many small children. They then choose to search without a hoseline and into the fire on the second floor. They put their own lives at risk at the possibility to save others. The second 7 minutes is video capture is Truck 4 Vent Group, who provide vertical ventilation to the structure. The third 7 minutes is video capture of Engine 9 arriving on the 2nd alarm, providing structure protection and exterior overhaul.

On September 1st, 2019, Stockton Firefighters responded to multiple reports of fire from a structure on Porterfield Court. Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and fire from multiple sides of a tri-plex, and requested a second alarm. Reports could not confirm if everyone was out of the structure, requiring Firefighters to take additional risk to ensure the safety of the residents. All searches were clear. The fire was brought under control in under 15 minutes after the first 9-1-1 call (this includes responding travel time). Firefighters extinguished heavy fire and avoided multiple hazards to save as much as possible. No injuries to civilians were reported at this fire, two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
