Three people, including to children, were killed after they came contact with the live electric wire in their farm land at Chalageri village in Kushtagi taluk in the district on Friday, police sources said. According to them, Hanumanth Beerappanavar (30), a farmer, had gone to his farm land in the village with his two children aged eight and four respectively and were electrocuted while harvesting.
The farmer, who was harvesting the sunflower crop while standing in his tractor, allegedly came contact with the live electric wires and died.
