President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured those protesting against gender-based violence that Government will take action to end the violence, rape, and murders. The President addressed activists outside Parliament in Cape Town at midday. Women of South Africa say they've had enough of gender-based violence following the murder of University of Cape Town student Uyinene Mrwetyana. Students have been picketing outside Parliament for the second day amid rising tensions over ongoing killings of women.
