Counter Irritant- Short Definition By Pharmacy-Dictionary

The counter-irritant is those agents which cause mild irritation to treat the severe irritation which is available nearby. Example of counter-irritant is- Pain balm which is being applied in headache. They cause irritation to treat that headache.
काउंटर इर्रिटेन्ट ऐसे एजेंट हैं, जो एक काम छमता वाले इर्रिटेशन को उत्पन्न करके दूसरे इर्रिटेशन को काम करने का काम करते हैं, उदाहरण के लिए- सर दर्द के लिए उपयोग किये जाने वाले बाम एक हल्का सा इर्रिटेशन उत्पन्न करके सर दर्द को कम करते हैं.
