Man Kayaking Mediterranean Coastline Comes Across Dog And The Two Become Best Friends

Sergi Basoli started traveling in 2013 soon after he left his job. He had been working as an engineer in Barcelona and wanted to travel around the Mediterranean coastline.

As he traveled around, he came across a stray dog and decided to go the remaining part of the journey with his newfound companion.

Basoli arrived in Alghero, Sardinia after twelve months. He saw a stray dog running on the road ahead of him. The dog looked terrified and confused. He walked towards the dog and realized she seemed happy to have found someone who cared for her.

Basoli named the dog Nirvana, and they both set off for the kayaking journey. Initially, the trip on the sea took its toll on Nirvana, but soon after, she got used to it.

Basoli has a mobile phone on his Kayak. He uses a stove to charge his cellphone besides cooking his daily meal of fish. He also carries a sleeping gear for use during night outs.
