So Long, Farewell to my Porsche 997

It’s true! After days and days (and many sleepless nights) of considering my options… I have decide to sell by Porsche 997. First things first though, THANK YOU to everyone watching my videos, following @auto.amateur on Instagram, commenting to give me your gut reactions, in depth perspectives and straight up advice. I truly appreciate everyone’s input and I have taken it ALL into consideration. Ultimately I made the decision because I’m ready for a new challenge and new 911 experience.

The 997 is a phenomenal driving machine and it is perfect in nearly every way as far as I’m concerned. Through all of my maintenance jobs performed on the 997, all of my modifications to the interior and exterior and through all of my driving experiences in the 997… I love love love this car.

From my first 911 back in 2017 (the Seal Grey 996.2) to my 997.1 that I said goodbye to today, I have been enjoying a life changing, incredible journey over the past few years… but my 911 journey isn’t over! Like any journey, there are twists and turns. The next stage of my 911 journey is coming up soon, incredibly soon, this week in fact! I can’t wait to start sharing it with you. Stay tuned for more 911 content coming your way soon!!
