Why isn't Monsterverse KONG called 'KING' KONG

MonsterVerse's Kong is not called "King Kong". Why is this the case and how will Kong become "King"? It might happen after Godzilla vs. Kong 2020, the movie. In 2017, Legendary and Warner Bros. released the second MonsterVerse film, Kong: Skull Island. That's when we first meet Kong at a young age. Notice, he isn't called "King" Kong.
There could be another reason for this that we will explain in another video.
