corruption: datamoshing, databending, glitch art, misalignment, distortion? i guess not distortion. this has a lot of names by the way, and instead of agreeing on a new one... i gave it an umbrella term.

thus: creating another term that will be used to interchangeably - welcome to the problem of naming & agreement conventions. I too am part of the problem.
