MSE Retaining Wall for Aggregate Mine Primary Crusher

MSE Retaining Wall for Aggregate Mine Primary Crusher This approximately 65 feet tall, 300 feet long Mechanically Stabilized Earth Wall (MSE Retaining Wall) was designed and built as a Primary Crusher Wall for an aggregate mine. Local rip-rap and clean crushed rock, mined at the quarry, were used respectively for the wall face and as structural backfill in combination with high strength geogrids. The design-built solution we offered allowed for an adaptable, timely and cost-effective installation. The wall was custom designed to fit it with the existing topography, formed by high walls and benches since the location was previously used as the main pit. This successful project also included temporary rockfall protection, shotcrete and site preparation work. Please visit the link below for more details.
