Kobe Bryant: A Necessary Conversation About Death

Kobe Bryant: A Necessary Conversation About Death With the recent passing of the basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his young daughter and a number of others as a result of a fatal helicopter accident, it is valuable for us to have a real and courageous conversation about death, its inevitability and the possibility that it can meet any of us at any point and time in our lives.

The truth is that we do not truly live until we face and conquer the fear of death, and in prophetic and spiritual teachings and traditions, it is the remembrance of death leads to liberation and true freedom.

In reality, death is not to be feared, but rather to be prepared for with faith. Thus, we organize and arrange our lives in balance and in proper perspective, avoiding the true calamity of wasting our lives on that which did not ultimately matter at the expense of that which does.

Our prayers and condolences to the families, friends and loved ones of all who were involved in this tragedy.
