How To Make An Artwork (And Become An Artist In Case Your Current Job Is Boring)

Here’s the first video on how you can create an artwork (and be an artist, in case your current job is boring).

It’s really crucial to focus in on something you want to portray. Ideally, your artwork should have a message. Without a message, it will just be a pretty picture. The message can be anything, it could be social commentary, a reflection on something you saw or whatever is happening in the world, or maybe a cultural reference.

Sit down and think of any situation. It could be something that happened at work, or at school, at home, on the street etc. Perhaps something that was striking in any way.

Think about how it made you feel.

Now:

1. Isolate this situation
2. Draw/write it (think about all the different mediums you can use)
3. Done.
