BT: ‘Foreign-looking’ man collapses in Manila; no help arrives A man who suddenly collapsed on a street in Manila was left lying on the ground for over an hour after a concerned bystander’s calls for help were not heeded by authorities.

UPDATE: The foreigner who collapsed in Manila and was left untended for over an hour was a drunk Korean, Ermita police said. A concerned bystander had taken to social media to describe the foreigner's plight, saying that he had collapsed to the ground shivering. He also said that he called several medical centers but that none extended assistance. On Sunday evening, citing a report by the Ermita Police Station, the Manila Public Information Office said the man in the video was a "drunk Korean national."
