In this video, I take a look at the potential sequel to Rocket League that is Rocket Assault. I was fortunate enough to being given a Beta key for this game. It's far from complete but so far the game looks super good for how little content there is. Rocket League sequels have been talked about before by the community but they have always been long stretched theories that will likely have no aspect be considered anywhere. However, Rocket Assault is the closest we've ever come to having an official sequel. Of course this isn't created or affiliated with Psyonix or Rocket League officially in any way but there is a chance it could be. I truly hope there will be a day where Rocket Assault and Psyonix work together to produce this game and really take it to the next level. Although Rocket League doesn't get stale for me, something fresh and new is never a bad thing so Rocket Assault fills that spot perfectly. Rocket League is an advanced car game after all and if there's anything we've learned about cars growing up, it's that you can race with them. There just hasn't been an official mode put in the game for race type version of Rocket League since it's quite different from the other main aspect of soccer. This is why I believe having a completely separate game than Rocket League for racing and speed running is perfect! Rocket Assault makes the perfect sequel to Rocket League because it's too far from Rocket League to be included as a separate mode and it's not too far to thought of as a completely different game genre. Rocket League is already a very unique game so having something similar for the community to play will have an amazing impact. After playing Rocket Assault, it definitely met my high expectations and I know I'll continue to play this game on my own despite the limited amount of content it has in its early stages. If Rocket Assault goes through some more major changes in the future, I know for sure I'll make another video about the game if you guys enjoy this one enough. I appreciate each and every one of you in the Rocket League community and I hope you guys support Rocket Assault as much as I do because it definitely deserves it.
