There are currently more than 3,500 described species of snakes living on our planet. With that many species, there is probably at least one you don't even know exists! Snakes are found almost everywhere, though the typical "Antarctica" isn't the only place on earth snakes don't inhabit. Plus, not all snakes have venom - in fact, most of them don't! And did you know they can give birth to live young? Scientific Name - Suborder: Serpentes

Size: 4 inches to more than 30 feet (10cm - 9.1m)
Diet: carnivorous
