NEVER BE COMPLACENTLY CONTENT WITH WHO YOU ARE...ALWAYS BE CAPTIVATED WITH WHO YOU ARE BECOMING...

NEVER BE COMPLACENTLY CONTENT WITH WHO YOU ARE...ALWAYS BE CAPTIVATED WITH WHO YOU ARE BECOMING... These are the words that I left for the teachers who depend on me, as much as i depend on them. We are about to be on the Chinese Spring Festival/Chinese New Year break.

I wanted to talk about the semester at Qingdao Wei Ming International High School, which has just ended and what I enjoyed and what we can do to aim higher, in some things, to make sure we are being the best we can be.

I left this message to all, in my International Studies Department (ISD) to challenge us all to contemplate ways to love our students more, listen to our students' concerns better and to reach out to them with heart and with a mind to make them more rational, thoughtful and never be satisfied with what they have thus far achieved. Mediocrity is the adversary of significance.

I hope my words will stimulate you, as well, to feel as I do for my own success; that I am never satisfied with who I am, but I totally captivated with who I am becoming. God bless you all.
