The head of the security committee in the Iraqi Diyala Provincial Council announced the killing of two members of the ISIS terrorist organization after the organization's dens on the borders with Salahuddin were bombed. The committee said in a statement, "The Iraqi army forces bombed the terrorist dens of ISIS in the Subi’at area, on the border between Diyala and Salahuddin, and killed two ISIS operatives in addition to destroying a vehicle."
The statement added, "The army's bombardments have led to the death of many of ISIS militants during the past weeks."
The areas separating the borders between Diyala and Salahuddin suffer from a state of security instability in light of the presence of ISIS terrorist cells.
