𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝘅 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱? 🤔 Now that you are approved for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), but what happens if you cannot fully utilize the credits?

- So we have now determined that one spouse with the DTC has used some or maybe none of the DTC and then they are able to transfer to a spouse
- You will complete a schedule 2 ( which is federal amounts transferred from your spouse) and then enter on Line 326 of the Schedule 1
- Now you will want to complete Schedule S2 Provincial amounts transferred from your spouse to claim the corresponding and then enter on line 5864 of the Provincial form 428
- Lastly, you must use the entire credit yourself and then if you have credits you have not used, you can then transfer them to your spouse to use
