I've partaked in a bit of strength training over the years, I started with a basic chrome barbell that I bent from not a great deal of use. I splashed out on a Strength Shop bar, I'm not sure on the model, in the video I mention the 2028 bar but I don't think this is the same bar. Anyways it cost me less than £100 but was a marked improvment on the most basic bars out there.
A little while later I fancied a Texas Power bar or something with aggressive kurling as I struggle with sweaty mits and grip, I didn't pull the trigger as it was just tooo dear. Then along came the ATX Ram bar where reviews were comparing it to the Texas power bar as a viable alternative , especially in the UK where the TPB is very expensive. The ATX Ram bar has geat knurling, great build quality, is straight and costs about £270 which makes it one of the cheaper high end bars out there? I stripped it down so you can see whats going on inside.... Hope this is of use to folks, give me a shout if you have any questions!
