Substitute the word seizure disorder for ADHD, ASD, children of divorce, children with behavior difficulties.... this model is helpful when considering behavior that appears to be inconsistent, unpredictable or out of proportion to the situation. when you’ve tried everything and the usual tools don’t seem to work. Then it’s time to look in other places. Perhaps it has more to do with the child’s internal cues and self regulation than to environment and consequences.
