Thank you for helping me reach 10,000 subscribers! It's been a long journey, and certainly one with plenty of trial and tribulation. I started this YouTube channel in August of 2016, using my knowledge of Disneyland's history to create a video series that would encapsulate what I've learned since Schizophrenia is slowly taking my memory from me. I was also looking for an escape from dealing with the unexpected death of my mother that year...and Disneyland has always been my escape. I never thought this channel would take off in popularity...I thought it would always be one of those forgotten YouTube channels that no one remembers. Mainly because the information I shared was often technical and very nerdy...so it never occurred to me that I would make it this far. The Alex the Historian channel has given my life new meaning, and new purpose...and I've gained countless numbers of new friends from the networking that this channel has provided. It's changed my life for the better...and many of you have told me it's changed yours for the better. Thank you for standing by me...thank you for being there...and thank you for 10,000 subscribers!
