Follow these steps to remove and replace the hinge cover for the HP 340, 348 G7 Notebook PC:
- Before you begin, remove the base enclosure, battery, WLAN module, card reader board, speakers, and display panel assembly.
- For removal, carefully squeeze the hinge cover to release the retention clips that secure it to the display panel assembly.
- Slide the hinge cover off the display panel hinges and remove.
- Reverse this procedure to install the hinge cover.
