
Attended by several leaders from across the divide and citizens among others, a number of the leaders were given an opportunity to air their opinion on the report. Among them was Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Suna East MPJunnet Mohhamed whose remarks on Jubilee party politics seemed to have amused the president. The ODM MP had asked Murkomen not to raise party concerns while addressing the gathering and for some reason, that sounded hilarious to the president and he could not hold it back.
For about a minute Uhuru's body shook with laughter even as he tried to keep it cool while an unamused deputy president sat next to him just watching. Like a child, he laughed, stamped his foot, shed tears and clapped his hands while Ruto just watched probably wondering what was funny.
His laughter was, however, cut short when Murkomen, who is also the Senate majority leader, stood up to address the crowd only to be booed away but the citizen.
