Looking for Ways to Achieve Co-prosperity through Agriculture


Agriculture is the most important sector in Vietnam’s economy. However, Vietnam needs cooperation with more advanced countries because of aged farming facilities and the small scale of local farms. The country’s local governments are increasingly turning their eyes to Gangwon-do Province, the agricultural center of Korea and the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Its beautiful tourist attractions and advanced farm villages make it especially attractive to Vietnamese. The government of Gangwon-do Province has embarked on promoting exchanges with Vietnam through various events and projects, which are contributing to the two regions’ co-prosperity.


강원도와 베트남의 농업을 통한 소통,

공동의 발전을 도모하다.


베트남에서 가장 중요한 산업이라 할 수 있는 농업. 하지만 베트남의 영세하고 낙후된 농업 상황은 농업 선진국과의 교류협력을 필요로 한다.

베트남의 여러 지자체들이 특히 주목하고 있는 것은 한국의

농업중심지이자 2018년 동계올림픽 개최지로 전세계에 알려진 강원도이다. 아름다운 관광자원과 발전된 농촌을 보유한 강원도는 베트남인들이 보기에도 매우 매력적인 지역이다.

강원도 역시 하노이 강원상품관 운영, 한베음식문화축제 참여 등 적극적인 교류로 베트남과의 우애 다지기에 나섰다.

강원도와 베트남의 농업을 중심으로 한 교류협력이 현재 두 지역 간의 공동발전을 이끌고 있다.
