After 50 Years, Pope St Paul VI’s teaching on Birth-Control still Divides Catholics. Pope had made four rather general "prophecies" about what would happen if the Church's teaching on contraception were ignored. The failure to heed the teaching of “Humanae Vitae” has brought great suffering to many married couples and families. It has harmed the very fabric of our society. We need to begin by rediscovering the wisdom of "Humanae Vitae".
