Becoming a truly effective manager requires a great deal of self-reflection, self-awareness, and clarity. HBR published a study showing that when individuals were less self-aware, the teams substantially suffered.
In fact, teams with less self-aware individuals made worse decisions, engaged in less coordination, and showed less conflict management.
Yet, a study done by the Hay Group found that just 9% of employees exhibit a strong sense of self-awareness.
Only 9%!!
Lacking self-awareness and clarity can significantly reduce your effectiveness and limit your career potential.
That's a fact.
The question is... will you do the work to reap the rewards or will you not?
