Telangana: Fake currency worth Rs 6 crore seized, five held in Khammam

Telangana: Fake currency worth Rs 6 crore seized, five held in Khammam Police nabbed a gang of five men and seized fake currency notes worth more than Rs 6 crore in Khammam on November 2. The accused allegedly used fake Rs 2,000 denomination notes used in Children’s games and placed original notes on top and bottom of the bundles. They later made videos of the bundles and showed them to the public, offering them Rs 1 lakh worth of Rs 2000 notes in return of Rs 80,000 in Rs 500 denomination notes. The gang successfully cheated many people from their scam, six victims have come forward till now.
