Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #373 Date of adventure: 11/24/19
On my way to my mom's house for Thanksgiving, I figured I'd stop and hike up Telescope Peak to burn some pre-emptive calories. At 11,049, this is the highest peak in Death Valley -- and you can see the highest AND lowest points in the continental U.S. from the top! The view was amazing, but I also went down to explore the lowest point, Badwater Basin, up close...as well as the Wildrose Charcoal Kilns. And I spend a peaceful night camping in the backcountry along Lemoigne Canyon Rd!
