Why you need to carry CASH at all times? Well...
There may be no ATM machines available.
Your credit card can decline.
You may need to quickly flee an abusive relationship.
Many places will only accept cash.
OR...
You could get stranded in the middle of a snow storm at night because your car broke down, which BTW, actually once happened to me and some friends where we had to get a motel.
Always carry cash and have enough to cover a mini emergency. This will be your "mini" emergency fund to safeguard you financially when you leave your house and it's a smart money savings tip to practice.
