Control access to objects - Top Site Objects in MaintMaster

You company has different site objects that shouldn’t be visible to all users?
No problem! MaintMaster lets you control which site objects can be visible to which user.

By allocating „Top site objects”, you can control the visibility and access to site objects for different users.
In order to allocate a specific object to a user, it needs to be specified as a main site object. Do so by opening the system preferences and select “site objects”

In the preferences, there is a chapter called “Main site object features”. Here you need to enable the feature “Main site object” and select the objects that should be classified as such.

Once your selection is complete, you can open a specific user and select “user preferences” in the Person card. Here, you will be able to select the user’s top site object. After choosing one, this user will only be able to see objects within his “top-site-object”.

Use this function in combination with user roles to make it easier for users to find what they need.
