A million households in the City of Los Angeles and almost 2 million across LA County would have to stretch financially to obtain a standard-size unit in their current neighborhood. The McKinsey Global Institute worked in collaboration with the Los Angeles Business Council, United Way of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Coalition for the Economy & Jobs to analyze what it will take for the City to deliver more affordable housing, faster.
