The Social Innovation Summit #SIS is an annual international conference that addresses relevant topics in the context of social innovation and entrepreneurship. --------
The digitization has changed the world we live in, yet the public discussion too is often focused on the chances of digitization for business or the dangers of digitization for society. But there is a growing movement of social innovators in civil society, tech and entrepreneurship that are developing inspiring digital solutions for a variety of social issues in areas such as health, democracy, consumption, climate change, transparency and education.
In this panel we will explore whether digital social innovations can provide a fundamentally new form of power that is capable of tackling large-scale social and global challenges, while empowering citizens and allowing democratic participation.
