Gervonta Davis has claimed that jewellery has been stolen from his home in California - just hours after boasting of his £5million collection of chain and watches. Floyd Mayweather's protege paraded his multi-million-pound valuables on Instagram in which he told his followers to "catch up suckers". But in a cruel twist of fate, Davis, 24, later pleaded with his followers to help locate the items after thieves apparently broke into his California home. The American boxer begged his fans and said: "Yo somebody broke into my house here in Cali and stole my jewellery. "If somebody try to sell it let me know!". He has since deleted the post. Davis has previously boasted of having at least three watches as well as his expensive chain, although it is unclear what has been taken by the thieves. The boxer is the highly-rated protege of 'Money Man' Mayweather who has 21 KOs in his 22 professional bouts so far. He recently revealed his intention to step up from super-featherweight and it is understood he wants to fight at lightweight so he can take on pound-for-pound king Vasyl Lomachenko. Davis recently said: "I want to be in position to fight for a belt. "So if I can get one of the champions or get someone that would line me up to get a belt then I'm cool with that. "Lomachenko is definitely one of the top opponents for me at 130 or 135. "I believe it will happen, but it got to be at the right time."
