F-Rant - Leclerc's Suzuka Penalty - Unjustified? Let's Look at the Evidence

Lap 1
Leclerc: "I've got damage."
Ferrari: "Copy, we're checking it."
Ferrari: "Box now, box!"
Leclerc: "Why? (What) It was too late!"
Ferrari: "Copy, understood."

Lap 2
Leclerc: "Why don't we continue a little bit more?"
Ferrari: "We need to box this lap - box."
Leclerc: "Copy, box. Just to let you know, the car doesn't feel that bad. I know it probably looks bad, but the car is quite ok. Do you confirm that we need to box?"
Ferrari: "We need to box now; box. Confirm(ed)."
Ferrari: "Stay out! Stay out!"

Lap 3
Ferrari: "Stay out."
Ferrari: "And SoC 6 when you can, SoC 6."
Ferrari: "And box now, box. We need to box this lap, box this lap."
Ferrari: "We need to (inaudible - possibly check [the car, it]) - so we will change the nose and you can use K2 on - K2 on."

The radio chatter speaks for itself - Charles did not disobey a team order to pit. The FIA never called car 16 to the pits.
