Do you NEED a Night Photography Filter??

What's a night filter in photography? I didn't even know until this week. So, do you need a night filter?

NiSi has a filter that I didn't even know existed. It's the NiSi Natural light filter. Apparently it's meant to cut out light pollution so your photos are much cleaner. Does it work? I tested it out for some night photography in Prague to see if it's something I might need or want.
