You Must LOVE Thundercats Roar if You Want to Work in Animation?

Thundercats Roar is still missing, so there isn't much news to report on the divisive cartoon reboot. However, we did come across a Tumblr post from an animation professional who effectively tells the haters to go take a leap, and implies that being critical of other people's shows could potentially get you blacklisted from the western animation industry. Could this jive with a video YouTuber EZPZ did a few months ago talking about the animation industry "blacklist" and the nepotism that seems to be running rampant right now? How can up and coming animators break in if you have to "play ball" with the people that have entrenched themselves at Cartoon Network, Warner, Dreamworks and elsewhere?
