Mullet Fishing Melbourne Madness with soft plastics

A short 45 minute fishing session in urban Melbourne targeting Mullet. A bread and butter species that is great fun on ultra light fishing gear and soft plastics or lures.

In this episode I manage to catch over 20 mullet in less then 45 minutes with most mullet between 35 and 50cm in size. Most Mullet were taken on the Savage Gear 5cm pro Grub in black. The most effective style of catching was a very slow roll or subtle lifts followed by long pauses.
