MPs vote to seize control of the Commons and force vote on Brexit delay MPs have voted to seize control of the order paper from the government, handing Boris Johnson a defeat in the first vote of his premiership and paving the way for a debate on a bill that would prevent a no-deal Brexit on 31 October. MPs backed the bill by 328 votes to 301 - a majority of 27.
