Maintaining that people belonging to all religions across the country rejoiced the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister of State in PMO with Independent charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh today warned those elements who are linking the annulling of Article 370 with religion.
Addressing a public rally here today held in connection with celebration of 125th birth anniversary of former ruler of the State, Maharaja Hari Singh, Dr Jitendra Singh warned those who are trying to mislead the Muslims over Article 370 by linking the issue with their religion.
“The abrogation of Article 370 has nothing to do with any religion”, he asserted and added that its abrogation was made to give justice to all people of the State who were deprived of the same during last 66 years irrespective of their religious affiliations.
