Highlights Edinburgh Festival Fireworks August 2019 - Inverleith park

The annual Virgin Money festival fireworks in partnership with the
City of Edinburgh, held every year to celebrate the end of the Fringe festival,
Edinburgh Festival and Military Tattoo.

Enjoy tonights highlights from the fabulous open space of Inverleith Park,
directly in front of Edinburgh Castle. A hidden gem and locals favourite spot

to view the annual Virgin Money fireworks. The amazing pyrotechnics
were choreographed by Pyrovision set against the medieval backdrop
of Edinburgh Historic Castle and music by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Tonight we were blessed with warm air, dry skies and the perfect viewing conditions. I would recommend booking a scottish vacation towards the end of August. Weather always pretty reasonable, scottish kids back at school and city starting to calm down after the crazy august months.
Co-incide with the last weekend of the Military Tattoo, fringe festival and enjoy the delights of some great authors at the Edinburgh Book Festival.

My other top tip, May is my second favourite month to visit Scotland.
