Australians are forking out an alarming $15,000 a year on food and drink related expenses. Eating out, takeaway meals and coffees are chewing through a third of the spend. A report by Suncorp reveals groceries swallow an average $135 per week, eating out $52, coffee and tea about $13.
People were most likely to overspend on food delivery, groceries and booze.
