Surprise! Just one week after Eladash got Metal Gear Solid 4 to go ingame for the first time kd-11 has fixed most of the graphical issues we saw in the previous video! The depth issue which caused geometry to flicker in and out as well as being able to see through walls/characters has been fixed, as well as an issue which caused shadows to be completely black. We would also like to thank our contributor/volunteer Eladash once again as bringing Metal Gear Solid 4 ingame was among his final contributions to RPCS3, as he has been drafted for the military. The build with these changes can be found here: As this build is a Work in Progress, there are currently issues with a few other games, so it may be best to limit testing with this build to MGS4 for now. We will update the build links and information here as this changes in the coming days. As such, we advise against linking this build to other people without first disclaiming this information and that the latest master builds of RPCS3 found here: should have these changes in a few days. While the game may appear to be running very well, there are currently some serious issues which prevent this from being considered Playable, which we will keep you updated on here in the video description. Firstly, you may have difficulty going ingame. Some users have had varying success with either the v1 or v2 updates for this game so it may be worth trying to update/downgrade your game version if you experience issues. The game also suffers from quite poor performance on most hardware, and may require some users to use the SPU ASMJIT Recompiler for extra stability instead of SPU LLVM. However, Asmjit does break the audio, so we recommend trying SPU LLVM if its stable for you. There is also an issue where sometimes you will just fall through the ground. And finally, it seems like some chapters simply don't work but we can't completely confirm that yet.
