Tampons and sanitary pads are not a luxury. Without proper supplies, girls miss school and women miss work. Life becomes harder and less dignified. The employees of Grand Forks Public Health decided to “Potluck with a Purpose” and put together “Period Packets” to donate to local organizations for girls and women in need.
