Just before 9:15 p.m. Peterborough Police sent out an alert for a missing 5 year old boy in west end of the city. Multiple officers responded to the neighbourhood and began searching the immediate area checking backyards and unlocked cars. Neighbours began coming out with flashlights checking backyards and houses with pools while concerned citizens who received the alert on social media began arriving in their cars and driving around helping with the search. Approx 45 mins later the boy arrived home, it’s not known where he was but he was safe!
