What most of us know as Geranium is in fact a 'Pelargonium' but within the same family as Geranium. These days there are so many wonderful options of Pelargonium out there, certainly one to suit any taste. This little city planting of geranium is a true testament to how great of performers they are. They require very little maintenance, can handle the hot sun, don't need an intense irrigation system and will push out flowers all summer long. If you are new to gardening and need a 'go-to' plant for containers on the front steps or window boxes, look no further than geranium.
