Aerobic Conditioning - Training The Cardiac-Muscle with Macedonio

Aerobic Conditioning - Training The Cardiac-Muscle with Macedonio Aerobic Conditioning - Training The Cardiac-Muscle.

Those who think lifting weights doesn’t involve cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary system, they’re greatly mistaken.

In the above video you will observe that I’m (Macedonio) deadlifting 374 lbs (170 kgs) for 10 Repetitions. This is an assessment of my aerobic conditioning: the interaction between my skeletal-muscle, heart-muscle , smooth-muscle of blood vessels, and lungs.

Aerobic conditioning is a process whereby the heart and lungs are trained to pump blood more efficiently, allowing more oxygen to be delivered to muscles and organs. Aerobic conditioning is the use of continuous, rhythmic movement of large muscle groups to strengthen the heart and lungs.

The video is an example of rhythmic movement of my large muscle groups. If i keep reducing the weight on the bar I will be able to perform more Repetitions. Eg. What if I lift 85 kilograms instead of 170 kgs? I will be able to keep lifting the lower amount of weight for another two, three minutes or more ( I'll be trying that soon). The process again would mean that my cardiac-muscle, lungs and blood vessels will keep delivering the oxygen to the skeletal-muscle. This is a simplified understanding of a complex physiological process.

With correct programming you will be able to lift a lot of weight to become extremely strong and simultaneously improve your aerobic conditioning.

General public and athletes competing in endurance sports must take note of this process to take full advantage of building and maintaining muscles mass and strength that is otherwise greatly lost in most sports and endurance activities.

Why lose strength and muscle when you can preserve it without compromising your aerobic capacity?
